1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Wave, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (also referred to as the End User License Agreement or "EULA"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
By using Wave, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. This application is intended for adults only (18+). If you are under 18 years old, you are not permitted to use this application.
2. Description of Service
Wave is a social networking application that enables users to discover, connect with, and communicate with other users around the world. The app provides features including user profiles, messaging, social discovery, and community interactions. Wave may include user-generated content features where users can post content visible to other users.
3. Age Requirement
Wave is rated 18+ and is intended for adult users only. By using this application, you confirm and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- You will not allow any person under the age of 18 to access or use your account
We reserve the right to terminate accounts and remove access for any user who we believe is under 18 years of age or has misrepresented their age.
4. Zero Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content
Wave has a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This policy is fundamental to our community standards and will be strictly enforced. Objectionable content includes, but is not limited to:
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Content depicting or promoting violence, abuse, or harm to any person or animal
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Bullying, intimidation, or threats directed at any individual or group
- Content promoting illegal activities, including drug use, weapons trafficking, or fraud
- Content exploiting or endangering minors in any way
- Spam, scams, phishing attempts, or misleading content
- Impersonation of other individuals or entities
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate
Violation of this policy will result in immediate action, including content removal and permanent account termination without warning or refund.
5. User Conduct and Community Guidelines
As a user of Wave, you agree to treat all other users with respect and dignity. You agree NOT to:
- Post, share, or transmit any objectionable, offensive, or harmful content
- Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or to promote illegal activities
- Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
- Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
- Share personal information of other users without their consent
- Attempt to deceive or defraud other users
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the service
- Upload content containing viruses or malicious code
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
6. Content Moderation and Filtering
Wave employs multiple methods to filter and moderate content, including:
- Automated content filtering systems to detect and block objectionable material
- User reporting mechanisms for community-based moderation
- Manual review of reported content by our moderation team
- Proactive monitoring of user activity patterns
While we strive to maintain a safe environment, no filtering system is perfect. We rely on our community to help identify content that violates these terms.
7. Reporting Objectionable Content and Users
If you encounter objectionable content or abusive users on Wave, you can and should report them immediately using the following methods:
- In-App Reporting: Use the report button available on all user profiles, messages, and posts to flag inappropriate content or behavior
- Email: Contact us directly at support@byjohnleonardo.com with details of the objectionable content or user
We commit to reviewing all reports and taking action within 24 hours. Actions may include content removal, user warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination depending on the severity of the violation.
8. Blocking Users
Wave provides you with the ability to block other users. When you block a user:
- They will no longer be able to view your profile or content
- They will not be able to send you messages or interact with you
- Previous messages and interactions will be hidden
- They will not be notified that you have blocked them
We encourage users to block anyone who makes them feel uncomfortable, in addition to reporting violations of our community guidelines.
9. Removing Your Content
You have the right and ability to immediately remove any content you have posted on Wave. To remove your content:
- Navigate to the content you wish to remove (post, shout, message, etc.)
- Use the delete or remove option to immediately remove it from the platform
- Contact us at support@byjohnleonardo.com if you need assistance removing any content
Content removal is processed immediately upon request.
10. Enforcement and Account Termination
We actively enforce our zero-tolerance policy. Upon receiving a report of objectionable content or abusive behavior:
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours
- Objectionable content is removed immediately upon confirmation
- Users who post objectionable content will have their accounts terminated
- Abusive users will be permanently banned from the platform
- In cases involving illegal activity, we may report to appropriate authorities
Account termination is permanent and non-reversible. Users who have been terminated are not entitled to any refunds for purchases made through the app.
11. In-App Purchases
Wave offers in-app purchases for premium features, additional credits, or subscription services. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law. Users who violate our terms and have their accounts terminated are not entitled to refunds.
12. Data and Privacy
Your data is stored securely using Firebase cloud hosting. We never sell your data or use it for marketing purposes. Your privacy is our priority. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
In connection with moderation and safety, we may retain records of reported content and user violations to help maintain platform safety and comply with legal requirements.
13. User-Generated Content and Interactions
Wave includes features that allow users to create content and interact with each other. You are solely responsible for any content you post and your interactions with other users. You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us a license to display and distribute it within the app.
We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to any content or features at our discretion, particularly content that violates our policies.
14. Intellectual Property
Wave and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by John Leonardo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Content you create and post belongs to you, but you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the service.
15. Disclaimers
Wave is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the identity, claims, or content of any user. You interact with other users at your own risk. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, John Leonardo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Wave, including but not limited to damages arising from interactions with other users, content posted by users, or any other aspect of the service.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Wave after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
18. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to Wave immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms, violation of our community guidelines, or posting objectionable content. Terminated users are permanently banned and not entitled to any refunds.

20. Apple EULA Acknowledgement
You and John Leonardo acknowledge that these Terms & Conditions are concluded between you and John Leonardo only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). John Leonardo, not Apple, is solely responsible for Wave and its content. These terms do not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
21. Scope of License
The license granted to you for Wave is limited to a non-transferable license to use Wave on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The Licensed Application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
22. Maintenance and Support
John Leonardo is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to Wave, as specified in these Terms & Conditions or as required under applicable law. You and John Leonardo acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to Wave.
23. Warranty
John Leonardo is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of Wave to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for Wave to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Wave, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the sole responsibility of John Leonardo.
24. Product Claims
You and John Leonardo acknowledge that John Leonardo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to Wave or your possession and/or use of Wave, including but not limited to:
- Product liability claims
- Any claim that Wave fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement
- Claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation
These Terms & Conditions do not limit the liability of John Leonardo to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
25. Intellectual Property Rights (Third Party)
You and John Leonardo acknowledge that, in the event of any third party claim that Wave or your possession and use of Wave infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, John Leonardo, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
26. Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country
- You are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
- You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
27. Third Party Terms of Agreement
You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Wave. For example, if you use Wave with wireless data services, you must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement when using Wave.
28. Third Party Beneficiary
You and John Leonardo acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these Terms & Conditions. Upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of these Terms & Conditions, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms & Conditions against you as a third party beneficiary thereof.
29. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
31. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and John Leonardo regarding Wave and supersede any prior agreements.
